Nurture Groups - What We've Been Doing

Both Nurture Groups have been working hard so far this year.

As well as our work in class we have been out and about visiting lots of places which have helped us in our literacy , numeracy and topic work. These have included Bill Quay Farm and Saltwell Park to name just two.

We have also been lucky to have interesting visitors coming to see us in class . For instance, the school nurses came to help us find out about healthy eating earlier in the year. With all this activity we haven't forgotten to look after Archie our guinea pig and our fish and we still find time to fit in our snack even if it is "on the go".

We have recently added a new bear to our collection. She is called Ginger and here she is helping us with a speaking and listening activity.
