School closure due to weather.

As you know, due to the extreme weather we are experiencing at the moment, we unfortunately had no option but to close our school both yesterday (Wednesday 6th January) and today (Thursday 7th January).

Our caretaker is making every effort to clear the snow around the school grounds to make it safe and accessible again. With this in mind, we do hope to open school to pupils again tomorrow (Friday 8th January).

Obviously, this may well depend on any weather we experience today or overnight. To be sure, please keep checking our website, or ring school tomorrow morning. We would appreciate if, once you know for certain, you could contact other people who may not yet be sure and pass the message on.

Furthermore, all school closures in Gateshead can be found on the Gateshead Council website.

Just to confirm, we do hope to open school again on Friday 8th January, overnight weather dependent.

We thank you for your co-operation at this time and hope that everybody is staying safe and warm.
