On Friday 19th November, the whole school helped raise money for Children in Need. The children paid £1 to come in 'non uniform' clothes. For their money they also received a drink, a krispie cake and a raffle ticket. Many children supported Pudsey Bear by wearing as many spots as they could and enjoyed parading their spots in assembly.
The School Council had been very busy after school on Tuesday making krispie cakes with Mrs Sweeney and Mrs Conway. They worked as a team to melt, mix, spoon into cases and sprinke spots onto the krispies to make them spotty. Everyone appreciated their efforts on Friday when they ate them.
The children had also entered a competition to either colour Pudsey's spots or write a story about how he got his spots. There were some brilliant entries and a winner from each class was chosen to win a mini Pudsey.
Everyone listened eagerly for their name to hear if they had won a prize in the raffle. Demi and Cody won the two Pudseys and other children won a wide variety of Pudsey gifts, cakes and biscuits.
