'Romeo, Oh Romeo...'

As St Valentine's Day is fast approaching, Drama Club got into the spirit of things, by studying one of William Shakespeare's most famous plays, Romeo and Juliet. This is a tale of two young teenagers who fall in love, despite the fact that their families are always at war with one another. As we found out, the play has a rather dramatic end to say the least.

We read extracts from the play (which was more difficult than we thought, Shakespearean vocabulary isn't the easiest to work with!) and performed to the class. We did such a good job that we decided to write our own scenes for the play, bringing it up to date with a more modern day feel.

Lots of fun was had by all!
