On March 7th 2011, four students (Danielle, Becky, Lewis and Tori) and two teachers (Miss Hind and Miss Marley) from our school flew off to spend four days in Sweden and what a fantastic time we had! We arrived in snowy Sweden and were greeted by our very welcoming hosts and families. We spent the first day together in school sharing a presentation to the students about our school. The second day we spent in the forest orienteering, playing team building games, cooking on a real camp fire and playing in the natural environment! It was fantastic and an amazing opportunity to cook our own lunch on a real camp fire! The final day we spent in the local town called Linkoping at two super museums! Please have a look at the pictures to find out what scary creatures we encoutered whilst at these museums.
We would just like to say what a fantastic opportunity this experience was, a super learning opportunity for both staff and students. All the children were fantastically well behaved and a credit to Brighton Avenue. We would also like to say a huge thank you to our hosts in Sweden, we enjoyed every moment!
