There was a dramatic change in the school hall on Friday 18th March. The Brighton Avenue children had disappeared and were replaced by 'Pirates'. We were raising money For Comic Relief by contributing £1 to come dressed as a pirate. The costumes were fantastic so thank you to all the parents and carers for their efforts in dressing our pirates and donating the money. We had a fun day but also raised £146 for this worthwhile charity. Children won prizes for writing pirate stories and painting pictures of pirates as well as for their costumes. There were also a few strange looking members of staff!
