Year 1 visited Satlwell Park as part of their science and theme work.
We found lots of spring flowers and one or two minibeasts too!

We were lucky enough to have a visit from some musicians and we sang and danced through four centuries of music.

Pushing and Pulling Science Investigation!
We have been investigating whether a sqeezy bottle, a fan or a straw is the best to push a ball with air!
The straw was the best as it made a stream of air directly onto the ball and you could blow really hard!
Toy Story Woody Sheriff Badge Biscuits!
Our theme for the second part of the Autumn Term is 'Terrific Toys' and we have been doing lots of activities around 'Toy Story' including writing instructions and making a video for making Woody Sheriff Badge biscuits!
Beetroot T-Shirts!
We boiled beetroot!
We tied string around parts of lovely new white t-shirts!
We put the t-shirts into the beetroot juice and stirred them!
We took them out and dried them!
We took the string off, washed them gently, dried them and they looked fantastic!
Wonderful Writing!
In Year One, we are making sure that we are writing in all areas of our classroom, we are making fantastic progress!
Outdoor Play
